This trip takes you to one of the most important battle zones of the Italo-Greek War of 1940–1941. Through a visit to the mini-museum of the Peshtan Guesthouse, the stories of local residents and a walk to the Wolf's Throat, you will get to know the stories and memories that have remained alive in this region. After a traditional lunch with the hospitality of the residents of Peshtan, the trip continues to the Trebeshinë massif, to Quota 731, one of the places where the fiercest battles of this war took place. The Battle of Quota 731 took place from March 9 to 24, 1941, during the Italian spring offensive. This is a trip that combines history with local memory, nature and the cultural heritage of the area.

Itinerary

10:00Peshtan Village
Welcome to the Peshtan Guesthouse, introduction to the area and introduction to the history of the village during the Italo-Greek War. Visit to the mini-museum near the guesthouse, where visitors are introduced to objects, testimonies and historical materials related to the war. An important part will be the narration of local stories by the residents of the area.
