THE TEKKE OF KELCYRE

ILIRE CASTLE – KELCYRE
The Këlcyrë Castle is a historic fortress on the slopes of Mount Trebeshina, with origins dating back to ancient times and several construction phases over the centuries. BRIDGE LIMAR/KALA
The Castle Bridge is located near the village of Limar and the village of Kala in the Municipality of Këlcyrë. It was built on the river Zagoria in 1804 by Ali Pasha Tepelena on the Këlcyrë-Malëshovë-Zagori route. Being near the village of Limar, it is also known as the Limar Bridge. The stone bridge, which is quite well adapted to the river banks, consists of 2 arches that reach up to 6 m in height, has an area of 52.8 m2 and is 18 m long.
