SAINT NICOLAS CHURCH – KËLCYRË
Located in the Këlcyrë Gorge, about 2 km from the town of Këlcyrë, Saint Nicholas Church is one of the most important Orthodox religious sites in the area. The church was destroyed in 1967 during the communist regime, when religious practice was officially banned in Albania. Its reconstruction began in 2003 and was completed in 2006, restoring this important spiritual and cultural landmark for the local community and visitors.

KALAJA ILIRE, FSHATI KALA
The Illyrian Castle of Kala is an ancient fortification dating back to the 4th–3rd centuries BC, located on a hill near the village of Kala overlooking the Zagoria River. The Këlcyrë Castle is a historic fortress on the slopes of Mount Trebeshina, with origins dating back to ancient times and several construction phases over the centuries. It offers impressive views of the Këlcyrë Gorge and the Vjosa Valley, and represents an important cultural monument with strong tourism potential.
